After several participations in those tournaments in 1986, was champion of AFA Regional tournament, thus crowning the first champion of Cordoba, AFA tournaments and to qualify the then named National "B". In 1990/91 tournament gained promotion to first division after beating Banfield in the final for the second ascent (1-1 in the first leg and 4-0 on the back). In

In the 2006/2007 season, the club played a tournament in Argentina First Division after winning the "promotion" to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca, on June 4, 2006, for an overall result of 4-2 (2-1 and 2-1) with goals from Paolo Frangipane (2 - one per game) and Matías Gigli (2 - one per party). In the 2007 Clausura, just one year after promotion, the club fell back directly to National B after finishing nineteenth in the table of averages. The irony is that Olympus rose directly, reversing the roles of 2006.

Day Foundation Thus, a March 19, 1905, under the shade of a carob tree, there was a meeting that gave birth to the Club Atletico Belgrano. That's why even the institution keeps the hue of local club, and is in its idiosyncrasy where its greatness. The name of the entity was inspired in honor of General Manuel Belgrano, as the most important meeting was conducted a day before the anniversary of the creation of the national flag. Hence also the colors of the club sportswear. In another area events include the age of the first president of the institution who was only 14 years. The first executive committee was as follows: President: Arturo Orgaz. Secretary: Raul Luque. Treasurer: Aurio Gardella. Captain: Jose Oviedo Members: Ernesto Doering. Nicholas Lascano. José Lascano. Balbino Lascano. Pedro Oliva. Oscar Orgaz. Soon urban progress and real estate were forced to abandon the "popcorn the reeds" and settled on land given by Mr. Ramón Moreno. In this site time later (in the twenties) would be built Belgrano Stadium, better known as the "Giant Alberdi." First Steps

Belgrano Cordoba debut in the league (which appeared in 1906) in año1908 did so in the second division and that same year would get the championship. Many celebrated what they thought it was the direct ascent to the first division of the provincial tournament. However the regulation was prevented and that to achieve this objective had to win three consecutive years in the said tournament, something not readily available. Nevertheless, the "celestial" put heart and grit (or qualities that always showed more Beyond the results) and managed to win both titles following the "B" Cordoba (1909 - 1910) and had the pleasure of playing in the first division. Because of the precariousness of his court, which did not have the elements required by the "league" is that the players themselves had to dig in order to comply with the regulations. Consequently, for lack of economic resources, the players decided to invade and steal the land near what they clung more necessary, for example: wire, rod and corner posts. It should be noted that this was not specifically a burglary in perpetuity, but used it only removed neighbors to meet on game day. Day following all materials taken without the consent of the owners were located in the original place, or were returned. For these facts and other antics after his supporters would commit is that Belgrano was nicknamed "the pirates."
