Profile: Stampede Design, from the beginnings to the future

Stampede Design see the light in the year 2007, fruit of the union of three designers: Ana Maria Arroyo, Christian Monsch and Francisco Perez, the same who have similar visions and philosophies.

Stampede At the beginning when it was just an idea we wanted to enter the market T-shirts and experimenting to see how things were while to see how people would to react with our proposal. Then we decide and dedicate our efforts to a broader portfolio of products ranging from belts, pillows, shirts, purses and so let us know more broadly and thus, into a brand that is dedicated not only to design T-shirts but rather the design of accessories.

The results of our first collection was very good, we had a good reception in Quito and this allowed us to participate in 'Quito Urban Feel', which was an event designed to meet new designers who are engaged in garment production and accessories, very enriching experience for us as we learn more of the many proposals that have been made in recent years in our environment, we also served as a platform for people to see us and take into account the idea that Ecuador can do different things, from a high production level and show that it can handle volumes low but these are products produced using traditional methods.

After this we decided to take the second collection incorporating more media to we did have bags, purses while eliminating items that did not have a high turnover or were very complex in its production stage, unfortunately, because the industry has a high level national development and there is often no inputs required to compile. This library helped us to expand as a brand and the reception this time was also very good, so that was even better than we imagined. In December last year we took the third collection of new proposals and that since the start of Stampede our idea was always to constantly renew our proposed designs.

At this point other companies not directly related to the design were interested in the products they were developing and transforming our product as an opportunity to promote innovation, expand our initial idea and decided to offer service design and production of ancillary businesses.

The brand is aimed at people between 25-30 years who are interested in new cultural expressions
