The August 18, 2009, the historian Gustavo Sorg was received at the headquarters of the Archdiocese of Corrientes by Archbishop Archbishop Andrés Stanovnik. During the visit, Gustavo Sorg told the Archbishop the progress of their investigations into the origin in our city of the Cathedral Church and told him about the documentary record of its erection older and who were the first benefactors.
